BAS Project Management Bootcamp provides students with a complete training in the skill of BAS Project Management.
In this course, students will be taken through the complete BAS project process and will perform a series of exercises to gain hands-on knowledge in performing these tasks. Students will be able to interact with the instructor through live office hours and discussion boards as they work through managing a project using real-world project documents in order to produce deliverables for their project.
Design for BAS Professionals takes the student from start to finish through the process of designing a BAS. We begin by reviewing a set of mechanical drawings, specifications, and scope of work. We perform a mock sales to operations hand-off and then move through the process of creating a full set of submittal documentation. Along the way, we address topics like RFI’s, submittal rejection, closeout documentation, and advanced design strategies like retrofit and IP controller designs.
This course provides a comprehensive study of HVAC control sequences. While this course will address theory, it is theory tempered by over a decades worth of experience working on some of the most complex BAS projects in the world. Students will learn the why behind BAS control strategies and will leave with a solid understanding of “how” systems work.
Troubleshooting BAS Systems will teach you how to troubleshoot systems based on our four-step troubleshooting methodology.
Building Automation Fundamentals takes the student through a complete look at BAS components, processes, and use scenarios. The purpose is to provide a foundational set of knowledge upon which the student can build their career. All of our other courses are dependent on a student having this foundational knowledge.
Information Technology for BAS Professionals will make the student conversational in IT so that they confidently work with IT departments during the sales and/or operational phases of a BAS project. The student will spend several modules learning the fundamental IT skills needed to be “conversational” and then can dive deeper with more advanced topics and hands-on exercises in the remaining modules.
